Every day that I log in here and don't see any mention of the SRZ just heightens the anticipation. ACK! I need to get past this to do some other stuff! I keep finding myself saying "Well I'll look into buying that AFTER I pay for the SRZ."

Yeah baby... I'm dying here. I took the pic of the SRZ and the pic of my own Stingray and another amp's panel and grafted together my own SRZ-65 the way I want mine to look. It's a bit warped, but you get the idea. Check it out:

The amp can sound huge at moderate levels where in many amps you'd want an airbrake to tone things down yet still have the amp in it's sweet spot. The "sweet spot" in the SRZ-65 is very very wide.

That will be great, as I have only one Airbrake and I like it on my Stingray.

Sam Austin had my airbrake on his stingray for a few weeks or maybe even months. Now John March (www.zenbluesmusic.com) has it for some of his amps and last Saturday at Westlake Audio we had it on a Twin Reverb in a recording session to drop the level so we could use sensitive ribbon mics that don't like high sound pressure levels. You won't need it on the SRZ though, at least not from my point of view.
