Boy, that is a ballsy amp! It's has some kind of lower rpm growl that is big and bold, it's quite different from anything else that I own. I like that it's very touch sensitive, much like a Vox type amp... I can hear things about my strings that I've never heard before! I didn't have time to play it very much, so I just plugged into the nearest cab laying around which was an Orange 1x12 with a vintage purple speaker. If this amp sounds that good through a measly 1x12, I can't wait until I can crank it through a proper cab with some Celestions! First impression though, I have the feeling there isn't much headroom with the amp.... I was using a LP Junior with a P90 and it was getting crunchy pretty quick.... but then the Superlead (which I guess it kind of mimicks) wasn't exactly a real clean amp either! I'll have to spend some more time with it. I'm thinking this is my favorite Z amp to date!

Congrats! Yeah, with humbuckers or P90's you won't be able to run the volume above about 11 o'clock without some crunch happening, so switch to full power for best effect! And if you want to have a religious experience, plug in to a Z-Best. Guaranteed....

Yeah, the Z best Rocks! I stupidly sold mine a couple years back! Maybe the mods should delete this thread, I have two of them going on the Remedy! I couldn't help it, I'm so pumped about this amp!

With Single coils there is plenty of cleans. Even with some attenuation
