If the Route has a bias pot I can't find it. I'm pretty sure my last Route had one. Anyway point me in the direction of the bias pot if you know.... maybe the older Routes don't have them.

By the way, if my Route does not have one is it possible to get one installed?

Thanks, mine is a little different, my pot stands up and you use your finger to turn it. I think my caps down there are different as well. The Grove tubes set in there sound good but is about 5 milliamps different. I bias one at 31 and the other at about 37. It sounded good... I tried a second set from Doug's Tube but the rating was 5-6 and the breakup was later. I am finding that for me, the early breakup tubes like around #4 are what I want. Even though I like the sound from my 2x12 the Tone Tubby 1x12 Alnico cab is nice and warm and cuts the volume of the Route down....thanks so much for the help.

Yes, it does. It should look like this - Is that an optical illusion or does that chassis look like it is "bulging" in the middle?

Optical illusion. That is the chassis of my SRZ. On a side note... my Rt.66 bias pot looks exactly like the one in my SRZ.
