I am used to the standby switch on my fenders where when its off..............its off. With the Z, however, when I switch to standby, in order to change guitars, the amp still seems like its running for several seconds......before it completely reaches standby mode.
In other words I will here a faint and "waning" super saturated buzzzzz sound if I remove the cord too soon......
Is this normal? Do I need to wait several seconds after I switch to standby before removing my cord/guitar?
also, do you have to switch to standby when changing guitars.........I see some people just turn the volume down to zero when they change guitars.............
Any help would be appreciated!

I usually pull the cord from the amp rather than hit the standby.
The buzz thing you hear seems normal to me. My 66's did it too.
