Is there any reason not to mod the hardwired footswitch on my Jaz Head? I don't like the idea of the footswitch rattling around by the tubes. Was thinking of adding a Jack Socket to the rear wooden panel.
Thoughts?
Advice?

Just make yourself a set of RCA extension cables. About 8 " long Female on one end Male on the other. Pull them out the hole and plug/unplug the footswitch to it. Store footswitch with your other cables/pedals/tuners/el-all.

That is one solution - I might try it. My solution is to usually have a dirty, sweaty, black t-shirt (used from a gig 3 weeks ago to setup the PA) packed on top of a tuner, cable, power cord, Cliff Bar, Stand Back Amp stand, and mic cable. Then nothing moves. The downside is when I finally remove the tshirt it usually has unknown life forms growing on it

Does anyone know if it is possible to switch the tremolo and reverb on my Jaz 20/40 head with two separate switches (and two separate cables to the RCA connectors) rather than the Fender style double foot-switch and single cable?
