I'm caught between a couple different NOS 6v6's for my Swart ST-R's. Again one is an Original ST-R and the other is an ST-R Tweed. I have no experience with NOS power tubes and wondering which way do you guys think I should go with this.
Q: Do I buy answer A or B
Keep in mind that I'm only looking to buy two or three tubes this time.
Thanks DAVE

If you can buy 3, then you can do both things. Buy 2 of the same and one different.

OK, I should revise. OOPS can't!
I was gonna buy three if I went with different ones and only two if I went the same. That is a good idea.
THANKS

Get the different tubes, you can always pull them out and try them in the other amp and compare via a recording.
