I love the way that my Fulltone '70 interacts with my BB preamp. ;D Just 30 seconds of messing around to show off the tones.

I really like that tone. You've got me thinking about a Fulltone 70.

Sounds real good.....I was surprised how clean it sounded, since both are pretty high-gain pedals.....your working it bro !

thanks guys!
I use that fuzz a lot. I was using the sag control on my pedal power for the fuzz just a little bit, I had the guitar volume down to about 6 I think. Also, I had a pretty straight forward Clapton Cream tone on the BB and then I kicked in the fuzz. The Cream BB preamp tone is warm with not too much treble, so when the fuzz went into it, the snarl was tamed.
Taswegian I really reccommend this fuzz! I'm using it in another video of mine where I'm playing around over Desert Rose by EJ. If you want I can see about posting a better more detailed clip so you can hear it more. I took a gamble when ordering it because I didn't see many clips of it on youtube.
thanks for watching!

Dude, I've already watched that one and all the others, just didn't wanna reply to them all in case you thought I was stalkin' ya! ;D Great playing and really cool tones. It's funny, I've played quite a few fuzzes recently and liked them all but loved none of them. Fulltone gets a bad rap but he makes quality stuff that's for sure. At the moment I'm using my Tonefactor Hellbilly for my fuzz tones even though it's really more of a germanium boost than a real fuzz. But I haven't played one yet that can knock it off, but with the tones you're getting, the Fulltone 70 might be worth trying for sure.

Just to let you know, my intention with this fuzz was to get the sound of an old Fuzz Face, the turqoise (silicon) ones, like Hendrix used w/ Band of Gypsys, and EJ uses now. I think I said that already. Anyway, lots of pedal companies offer all kinds of tweakable fuzzes and fuzz/od or fuzz/distortion. It seems like more people prefer to have all those options. However, I just wanted a classic silicon fuzz face sound, and this thing delivers! I just wanted that HUGE solo sound, which is does so well (check fulltone site) ;D. What I've been surprised with is how much use I've gotten out of it, how I use it just to thicken things up and stuff like that. Often times I'll leave it on for an entire song and then just crank my guitar for a solo. I can also get some cool Hendrixy clean tones with it on and my guitar volume down. A guy on youtube did some great demos of that. Sorry to ramble but I'm just in love with this pedal. I'm well past the honeymoon faze, I've had it for about 6 months, but I still love it! here's a great clip of it from the Fulltone website. fulltone.com/audio/areyou.mp3
