I have a very new Celestion G12H 8ohm speaker I would like to swap for a regular Vintage 30. I have been offered a swap for one that's 16 ohms. Anybody know how that stacks up when used with another 8 ohm cabinet?

If you combine speakers with 2 different ohm ratings one will get more power than the other. I think you get a funky total ohm number too...I wouldn't do it...

The 8 ohm gets the most juice and I may be wrong but I think the impedance goes above 16 ohms wired one way but I don't know where goes wired the other way.

Thank you both for the info. I suspected it wasn't a good way to go. One speaker getting more juice is a result I have run into in the past without knowing it was due to impedance.
