Hey, I'm still pretty new to tube amps and I've just purchased an RX. The thing has tone for miles, but I'm still figuring out how everything works on the amp. There are two fuses on the back for 3/4 amp and 3 amp. 1. How exactly do I activate these? 2. I know 3/4 amp gives me 3/4 of the volume to get more break up at lower volumes, what exactly does 3 amp do? Thanks for the help.

The fuses don't work that way. They are "safety valves" so that when there is an electrical problem the fuse will blow instead of something expensive being damaged. If your amp stops working sometime, check the fuses, one may be blown. If one is blown it's probably a bad tube that needs to be replaced. Good idea to keep spare fuses and tubes. A fuse has no effect on tone and will not effect your volume, except you'll have no volume if it blows a fuse.
