Actually 2 gigs yesterday. I can now turn the treble up without feedback. Got an airbrake too..That thing is great. Here's a couple of issues and solutions that worked for me...RXES combo.. Crackling.....tightened the chassis bolts, tube dampers on the EF86 Feedback....Replaced 12ax7's (Tung-Sol RI recommended by KCA) Thats it. Best sounding amp I've ever played. I set it like this now. Volume......up 3/4's or more, OD "on" Treble........Around 3-4 (just depends) Mids..........About half way Bass......... Not quite half way I plug into the high or low...just depends...Get an airbrake or plug in low and ride the volume knob for lower volume gigs..you won't have to turn the guitar all the way up for leads..just use your ears..I don't use pedals except for wha....thats it for now...Thanks for everyone's help here at the forum. Mike at KCA is awsome...helped with the tube stuff, and Todd at Dr.Z was great too. Answered allot of questions, zero attitude. And now I can shut up and play my gutar...Hope this helps others...
