I ordered a 2x10 speaker cabinet back just before Christmas for my RXES. I think this week is about 6 weeks.
I've been playing my head through a Crate speaker cab, or a friends Peavey cab with Sheffield speaks. I can't wait to hear it with the 2 x 10.
This will be my first 2 x 10 cabinet so it should be interesting...

I think Zs 2 x 10 cab is really good, especially for it's size and weight. 2 speakers seem to disperse better than, for instance, a 1 x 12. I think someone on here put 10" Tone Tubbies in their box. I think I would be happy with the Z speakers. If I ever get another Z I'll get the 2 x 10 cab for sure, unless he comes out with a 1 x 15 box.

Travsbluz,
Hopefully by now you've had a chance to play through the 2x10s. I think they're fantastic.
I got a couple of the Z speakers to build a 2x10 cab (or get one) so I can run it with my 2x12 combo (as the Dr. Z 2x10 cab is designed more for the smaller combos (width wise))
Please update us when you get a chance.
Enjoy!

Unfortunately, Tom, I haven't got to play through them yet. My order was placed at the lucky time when the good Dr. was waiting for some new cabinets to come in. (so I'm told from the dealer I ordered from) So it should be in in the next week or so. I'm getting pretty anxious.

You'll love it! I use my RXES into a Z 2 x 10" half of the time, (2 x 10" cab for weekly rehearsals and clubs, Bogner Cube stays at church and gets used every Sunday) and it rocks! Great cab, but give the speakers a chance to break in. The Z 10's sound good out of the box (not edgy like Webers), but will open up and get more 3D as they get about 100 hours on them. Once they open up, probably the best all around cab on the market for tone and ease of use.

Well everyone, the 2x10 showed up at my house this morning. Wouldn't you know it, I just so happen to have a jam to go to this evening. I'll let you all know what I think.

Well this is very impressive for a 2 x10 (or any cab, actually). I played on it Last Tuesday for a few hours, and my first thought was If this is suppossed to really start sounding great after 30 + hours of use I'm scared. Very efficient cabinet also. (comparing to a Crate 2x12, and a home made 2x10 with Mojo speakers, and based on the old Fender 2x10 cabs. I had to roll the volume back a bit from about 10 O'clock to about 8 or 9. Depth of sound was very impressive. Very clear and big sounding. Note definition was nice, actually seemed to be a more open sound from my Strat. It stays pretty tight cranked up also. I turned the amp up to 3 0'clock and started a Chuck Berry like thing in "E" and stayed tight and focused. Very, Very impressed with the amount of sound comming out of such a small package. I'll measure it up to tell you for sure, but it is quite a bit smaller than the old fender style. I'll play the humbuckers through it tonight and give a full report as soon as I can.
