Anybody have any info/idea about this Ghia that's currently on Ebay. I don't want to buy it, but I've never seen a Ghia like this before? Is this one of the originals?

Looks like it to me, that chassis (the way the tubes are so close together) and the Power Transformer look very 'hammond'....Do a search on ebay for a hammond ao-35 (they dont sell often, but you might see one in a completed search) and you'll see that they do look familiar...
Regardless, I'll wait for those in the know (or the Doc himself) to weigh in on it...since I don't know what the old original Ghias looked like....but if I were a gambling man...

Yep,
it's like the early carmen ghia's...there was a Maz-15 (what Doc called the early carmen ghia's) on e-bay back before christmas, that was just like this one but black w/ no Z decal on it (only had maz -15 on the panel)....and the Doc chimed in on the forum to confirm that is what it was....real cool...I bid on it but lost it.....
very cool little amp...I'd love one like it, just got a ghia 2X10 though so.....

God that looks like a good friend of mines old Ghia. That is a very old circa one , built on the original Hammond Chassis.
I'll need to look that up, my bud's name is John Wall is that who has it on E-Bay ?

can't tell - "airlonnie" is the seller's ID, from Buford, GA.
It looks..."cute" for lack of a better term(?) How does its performance compare to what we know & love as the Ghia today?
Thanks in advance!

Hey anyone know of the Ohm rating of the speaker out on this amp?? Also are there any circuit differences between this amp and the current Ghias?

8 ohm out, but Ghia's have beefy output transformers, so you could safely (and with great results) drive a 4 ohm cab instead.
