Is the built in attenetater on the new Mini Z Head just an Airbrake, or is it going to be something different?

Yes the new MINI -Z head will have a built in Airbrake, with the control on the front panel.
Also it will have a 4 and 8 ohm speaker out.
It will be built into a Ghia Chassis so look for the same size cab as the Ghia/Z-28
Look for the price to be similar to old MINI-Z .
I hope to have them in stores for Christmas Late Oct. early Nov.

Thanks for the info Doc! I'd never let go of my Mini Z, but that new head sure sounds intriguing - and still of a size that'd make it easy to sneak in the house! ;D

Will it have a line out option (as part of the attenuation?) so it can be slaved into another amp?

I can't wait for the Mini Z head. I think I will be perfect home use, great tone at a lower volume, and for some recording if I get into any of that in the near future. My band just moved practice to my basement, which is smaller than the garage we were practicing in. the mini may be perfect for band practice in a smaller space.

I played the Mini-Z prototype at Zfest through a ZBest cab. Doc kept laughing at me 'cause I couldn't get the smile off my face for 3 days. ;D
