This little bundle-of-joy showed up on my doorstep last night. Never thought I'd say a rig was cute, but............

What type of speaker is in the Avatar? How do you like the Avatar stuff? I'm thinking of getting a 2x10 cab at some point.

I bought it empty. For the most part I like Avatar's cabs. I used to have a 2x12 also from Dave. Two things I don't like about them is they have really thin speaker wire and the grill cloth frames are made from MDF. They sound very good.

I do not think you can get a Avatar cab with 2x10's. They do have a 4x10. I do have a 2x12 avatar cab I got from a friend and think its great for what I paid for it, but its no "Z" Best.

The Avatar cabs are great for the musician on a budget. Haven't heard anything that can beat them for the price.
