Hi, Just ordered a Brake Lite for my Z28 2x10. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with this combination.
Many Thanks in Advance,

I've been running my 2 x 10" Z28 combo with a Brake Lite for roughly 6 months now with great results. The BL works great with the Z28 for me because I love the sound of the amp cranked up but my wife hates me knocking things off the walls!!! I think you'll really dig the setup.

I use the Air Brake all the time. It definitely allows you to twist those knobs a bit more. In my opinion, it's a must have for home use.

Thanks for the responses
I've never used an attenuator before. Is there any comparison to playing with a good overdrive at a low / moderate volume?
I am indeed looking fwd to using the BL at home, but I'm particularly keen on playing with it live. I have never played my Z28 (which is, I believe, the most under appreciated amp in the Z liine) at anywhere near full tilt in a practice or gig situation.

I second the idea that the 28 is somewhat underated, untill you play one...then it has a way of creeping into the top slot..... great amp IMHO It can sound great at low volumes and that is a rare trick. I have recieved alot of comments on that. Most other guitar players can;t understand how it can sound that good at that volume....I am not sure either but I wouldn;t get rid of mine. May even add annother for a duo.

I use the Z28 & BL with OD pedals with great results. I'm not a gain guy... mostly clean boost with a little hair. Most boost pedals like the amp to be at the edge of breakup so being able to crank it up with the BL gets you there with less volume.

I use it to allow the power tubes to give some tone and then control the overall volume with an Airbrake. Most of the time, as the night goes on, I get to have a little more volume so I just click the Airbrake instead of using the amps volume. I use the FDII for OD and a Katana for clean boost.
