I LOVE my Mini Z!!!
It has inspired a few ideas that maybe some of you might like...maybe even the good Doctor!
How about:
*Mini Z head with a 4x8 cabinet *2x8 combo *Built in attenuator for "3 o'clock" tone at true bedroom levels *Dual Mini Z head...similar to the 6545...but each side identical so different volume levels on each side.
Anyone else?

The Mini-Z head idea has been thrown around many times. As a matter of fact I have all of the wood pieces cut for my Mini-Z head cabinet project. I just don't have the time at night or on weekends to finish the project.

I still want a Blonde Mini. It would match my Mazerati combo. There's my clean channel and my dirty channel. Then I could get an A/B box.

I would love to see an additional speaker out or recording line out feature. Colors would be a cool option as well. Chow. 6strang

+1 on the attenuator or Master Volume. I know part of the Mini's mojo is the simplicity of the circuit, but this would still be cool, rather than forcing you to use a pedal for low-volume shred.
How about a "Cut" knob? :-)

I saw a quote from Dr. Z joking about how the rumors of his next amp only having a power switch were untrue. But it got me thinking about it. What if there was just a power switch and that all of the volume was done solely with the guitar...you can't get a much more pure signal path than that. Marketing wise it may not be a huge seller but I think it would have a niche market....I'd certainly be interested in it.

That's it!
We've solved the mystery of the next amp from the Doc! A 6L6 Mini!

How about less watts so we can crank it at home. Power tubes maybe a 12ax7 or 6K11? An additional speaker out would be cool!
