Right now I only own one Z amp, Mazerati combo. I would like a Mini for a more overdriven tone at lower volumes, that's what it's for, right? I also have on the way a Diamond Memory Lane. I wonder if anyone has used a mini for the delay only output of a delay pedal like this. So, I would have my Mazerati as the dry signal and the mini as the delay. At lower volumes, at home, I think this could work. Yes the Mazerati could drown out the mini at some volumes depending on what I am playing. I also play harmonica, and have a Sure Green Bullet for harps. Would the mini do that well, Chicago Blues style I guess? So I would like the Mini for 3 tasks, harp, playing at home plugged straight in or through pedals, and maybe as my delay out for the pseudo-stereo set up. I wish I could try these things, yet my local Z dealer has no Z's in stock right now. Thanks for any input Guys.

That sounds like it would work, but given the lack of clean headroom on the Mini (i.e. none), your delays will be distorted.
If that's what you want, go for it!
I haven't tried the second thing (don't play harp), but I'll bet the Mini'd be a dandy blues harp amp...

I'm pretty sure I read that Brad Paisley used his mini as a delay feed on TV once. If you were playing live you could set the mini up "clean" for your delay signal if you were miking up. You probably wouldn't hear it onstage but could mix it in at the desk. I'm sure it would be a rockin harp amp if you were after that overdriven sound. A friend of mine plays for a blues harp guy named "Harper"...I should loan mine to him next time they're down and see what he thinks.

I play harmonica mostly with my acoustic, but I have a fantasy where I am plugged into both amps, guitar into Mazerati and the harmonica on my neck through the Mini. It's hard to know until I try the Mini. I know that I would use the Mini with guitar, so it would not go unused if I wasn't doing that overdriven Chicago sound. Yet, I could just do the PA thing. Maybe the good Dr. will be inspired to do the Mini in Blonde Tolex so I can have a matching pair. It's not the color that makes the amp sound great, I just have detailed fantasies. Well, I like blondes and having two at once, well you know.
