Hi
I was wondering when I needed to change my stock tubes on the maz. Any reccomendations for tubes on the maz. I am a blues player.
Thanks for all the help to the Z-newbie

Roughly once a year for power tubes, pre amp tubes generally last much longer, I just carry spares rather than replacing them. Most good quality NOS 12ax7's will last years. The JJ's are still good value, just get a matched pair or check out some NOS items, as with most things it's personal preference, you may or may not hear the difference!

Darkside is correct. But like the old addage, you "get what you pay for." NOS tubes seem to sound better to me and I get more life out of them....If you got a little extra cash to spend, go with NOS tubes.

This depends on many factors.
Preamp tubes can last decades other than the phase inverter.
Output tubes ... cathode or grid bias changes things..... 6L6's last twice as long on average as EL34's.
On cathode biased EL84s I have folks that run them a year and other folks that change them out every 10 shows ... every 30 or so hours.
