I am still stuck in limbo on whether to get a maz jr or a z-28. There is currently a Z-28 head on ebay from the year 2000. If i could get this for around $950. Does that sound overpriced? Aren't they only 1250 for a new one. Also do you think it would sound good out of my 2x12 birch cab loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's. Thanks to anyone who responds. I am looking to get my first Z just can't decide which one. I play a 62 re-issue Tele, styles are classic rock and country if that helps at all. Thank you

Vin30's do not seem to be the speaker of choice for the 28. lots of info available if you use the search function. 950 is about right. check out some utube 28 clips as well, and there are tons of them on here as well.

Thank you to everyone who responded and sent me pm's. I just want to let you guys know that I recently purchased a maz jr head w/ reverb for $900.00. I thought that was about the going rate. This should be a good match for my vintage 30's don't you all think? Thank you for your advise it was your advise that helped me make my decision. I ultimatley decided on the maz jr because of its versatility

Good choice. The Maz is a better choice for V30's and for versatility.
