You have to pull the chassis... take it to a tech to be safe! There's a lot of juice floatin' around in there!

juice = electricity or parts? anyway pull the chassis means take it out of the cabinet and stuff? its inside the chassis right? cause on some fenders its on the outside of the chassis kinda and you just turn it with a sqrewdriver while monitoring the flow on a meter

just to be sure is it the black plastic looking pot next to the 2 black resistors caps on the right upper corner of the board or is it the black one north of the 2 silver colored ones in center position of the board prob the last one right cause looks similar to the ones in marshall blurry picture so if im totally of i blame the picture haha. lol anyway probably sounds just like when womans are giving road directions (and then take left after the white house with that beautiful garden blah blah) but ya hehe just chacking to make sure i get it right

Yes Sir, I can't remember if it's a bias balance or a bias level pot though, it's been a while since I swapped tubes in mine

No, bias balances belong on silverface Fenders! It's a bias pot and you're after 28mA or thereabouts. Have you biased an amp before? If not get a good book, a multimeter, discharge the filter caps and don't fry yourself! Brett

ordered a srs bias tool its 2 sockets with leads and i have a multimeter to so just plug in the sockets in amp sockets and then tubes into them again and set multimeter to 200mv or ma DC ? il trye to be steady on the hand with the sqrewdriver haha picturing myself hiting some wires and boom anyway just kidding il be careful maybe i should leave a letter saying: if you find me on the floor burry me with the amp ;D haha good times

" if you find me on the floor burry me with the amp ;D "
that's the funniest thing I've read on this board! ;D ;D

finally ventured into the amps mysterious inside a couple of screws removed chassis gently pulled out and reach the internal organs found the pot made some adjustments while monitoring the flow wasn't to bad the hole operation lasted approximately 1 hour and both me and the amp survived yay also have to ad that the operation was done with no sedatives or anestethics a pretty tough guy (me that is , the amp was brutally knocked out life sustaining plug removed/power cord while taking out the chassis pluged in later for readings and had a screwdriver tinkering with his brain pot poor thing) ;D anyway was a fun experience and the amp seems very happy at 26ma for these tubes. almost looking forward to the next surgery sometime in the future only scary experience was finding some fryed spiders inside it lol i have a little bit of aracnafoby
