found some cheap old metal can RCA 6v6 tubes matched within 2% and tested for mutual conductance etc etc they were up to original specs acording to seller the price was very resonable so i bought them but figured i should read up on the metal cans and some people say pin#1 might do some "funky stuff" in some amps due to it being umm shielded to the can or something didnt really understand all of it mostly references to old tv`s and radios so figured il ask around on a better forum do they work fine in z amps? also baged me a fine 5751 nos(sortof only 23 years but yeah) tube cryo treated at -310 farhenheit for 48 hours at some fancy lab lol anyway exited to test out that one to

I've been told that there are grounding issues in using the metal tubes in guitar amps. Ask a professional tech before you try them!

These are typically very microphonic and are not well suited to guitar amps expecially the 6L6 version which were primarily used in aircraft radios a long time ago.
