I'm looking at a Mazerati combo that some one has for sale on Craiglist. (Not a GT) Its a 2006 model. The seller says that it was discontinued after that year. The combo is loaded with 2 Celestion Blues. Should I be worried about blowing the blues? Also how does this amp differ from the double powere Ghia model?

2006 was the last year for the Mazerati . This is my favorite amp! You won't have to worry about blowing the Blues because thats the combo that Doc put together. He designed that amp to be used with 2-Blues and thats the way most of the 2x12 combos were sold! If you have a chance to score this one I Know you won't be sorry!!!!!!!

Thanks for the response. I was a bit worried because I heard some talk (don't know if its true) that Brad Paisely went with Golds in the Stangray because he was blowing the blues. The Stangray is a little less wattage then the Maz so that had me a little worried. I do fum 2X12 blues with my stangray and hopefully I will not ever have a problem. I've been thinking about picking up a 2X12 cab with golds for my stangray but I've tried them and to my ears they don't sound near as good as the blues. The Mazerati being 35 watts caused me a bit of concern so I wonder if I just have to be a bit more careful how much I push the amp.
