I walked into my local guitar super store (long and mcquade) mississauga, just to pick up some strat springs, and I wandered by their Dr. Z display. 6 months ago I traded a Transition Prescription away for a 69 Vibrolux. A good deal, but I have missed that amp every day since. Well, I check out a blonde Z-28 and do a double take on the price. $699!!! Canadian!!! WHat is that, like 450US? So I leave the store, without playing it, saying "Idon't need another amp! I don't need another amp!"
By the time I got back to my desk at work, I changed my mind, pulled out my credit card, phoned up long & mcquade, and bought it on the spot. I haven't played it yet, but i have high hopes of how good it will sound through the private jack 1x12 that made my prescription sing. I'll pick it up tomorrow!
I'm excited
