I had a 97 black Ghia head and loved it.....traded it for a Route 66. R66 wasn't for me so I sold it and bought a black Ghia 2-10 combo. Loved the Ghia 2-10 but someone offered to trade a Anderson Cobra so I couldn't pass that up. Went through several amps for a while and this New Years Eve I bought a red Ghia head. Now is it just me or do the red amps have a little extra "magic"? I think the Dr. sprinkles some magic tone dust on the red ones before shipping!! The Ghia to my ear is one of the best sounded amps I have ever played and owned. This is my third and I wouldn't take 10 Andersons for it. Any one else with a red one that sounds a little better too?!!...LOL!!

I must disagree. My black Ghia with salt and pepper grille and green jewel light is the stuff. The green jewel is where you find the real mojo. The only way it could sound any better would be if I had a genuine ivory chicken head knob. Tone City!

That would be Grandolpeachphan's rig but he has since sold the Green 1-12 cab to Tele62 if I remember right. Traded for a Z-Best. Sure is pretty though!
