Has anybody tried these or a similar tube in their Ghia?
How was the experience?
I'm thinking about getting a pair of Ei Elite 84's with the gold tips for my ghia.
I had the stock GTs, and my friend gave me a pair of Sovteks for some gainier stuff, but I've read that the Ei's are some of the most harmonically rich tubes around.
Your two cents, mighty Ghia users!

Never tried them. I have NOS Mazda EL84s in my Ghia and love them. Not quite as gainy at the GTs and, to my ears, just a tad more musical (by which I mean more chime and clarity)

Does anyone know of a tube that would be a bit gainier than the GTs but still have the bottom end of the GTs?

Gainier? Svetlana87, have you tried playing with the tone knob or using a clean boost?

Well, I have the tone knob around 11 o'clock.
I think I'll end up keeping the GT's for now and just getting an OD pedal.
I replaced the pre's with JJ's, and that gave it a bit more Marshall edge.
Any suggestions on a new rec?
Mine has the stock Sovtek.
