I seen a Maz 38 Studio Deluxe advertised by one of the Z dealers but I don't see any mention of it on the Z website, is this a discontinued model?

Yep. I remember reading about it here somewhere. As I recall, the Maz 38 Studio Deluxe has only one input. Seems like somebody was asking about whether or not they should add a second input. That was posted recently, but I can't find it just now. You might PM BW (that is, send a personal message to Buddy Whittington). He has a Studio Deluxe. I just did a web search and one dealer had a Maz Senior on their site, but called it a Studio Deluxe, but I know Buddy's looks different and is NOT a Senior. Are you talking about Boston Guitar Works? That's the site my search pulled up. That photo is of a Maz Senior. Perhaps that dealer is using the name "Studio Deluxe" to refer to the 1x12 combo, just like a book I just saw on the market values of amps does (I think, in error). Now that you are thoroughly confused, let's wait around for somebody to clarify this who actually knows what he's talking about. ***I knew I would find this thread if I looked for it. Here, mrweems is asking about an 18 watt version, but here you go: drzamplifiers.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=lounge&action=display&thread=1180915186

Yes your right, it was indeed Boston Guitar Works. It looks like they've got the name wrong, or maybe it has a direct out.......

My guess is, they just have the name wrong. All the other text is used with permission from the Dr. Z website and describes the Maz Senior. The amp pictured is listed as new, so it's got to just be a typo.
