New owner of a Maz 38 1-12 combo. I am unfamiliar with using the effects loop. Right now I am running from the guitar to 1. Digitech live vocalist 2 (adds harmony voice). Says in instruction manual that it must be first in chain. 2. Crybaby 3.delay box 4. boss/ fender bassman pedal 5. fulltone mosfet overdrive..... out to amp
Is their a particular way I should set these in the chain? should I use the effects loop? HELP !!!!!!

I'd put the Delay last out to amp... the rest is up to how you like it.

Robert Keely uses a mnemonic:
Which Chain Of Effect Pedals Makes Life Easy?
Which-> Wah Chain-> Compressor Of-> Overdrive Effect-> EQ Pedals-> Pitch Makes-> Modulation Life-> Level Easy-> Echo
It may not serve all purposes, but it works pretty well. It doesn't take your effects loop into consideration, but you could make the case that the loop should be after the Overdrive. In other words, stick the EQ through Echo in the loop and have the other stuff in front of the amp.
That said, not every effect works so well in every loop. They are all different and you may find that the stuff works better in front of the amp. Everyone hears something different, so you just have to try it and experimentally decide what's best for your specific gear and playing style. You can't hurt anything, so that's probably what you want to do to make your final determination.
Good luck!
