So... I was wondering if these two different kinds of tubes could be substituted for each other. I have 2 6L6 GE (rated at 4) in my EZG-50 but if I wanted to retube them with 6L6 GC, would I need to rebias?

Pretty much the same....I wouldn't think a re-bias is necessary, BUT...JMO/FWIW/etc...
I KNOW the tubes are interchangeable, as for biasing issues, maybe ask Myles, or Brent just to be safe.

Yes, you should re-bias.

I just ordered a pair of grove tube 6l6ge (mid rated) to replace the tubes that came in my ezg. Do I need a re-bias or can I just drop them in?

Crow, If the original tubes in the EZG are Groove Tube 6L6GE with the same rating, you can drop them in. If they're a different rating (i.e. 4 instead of 5) you need to re-bias. What came in the amp originally?
