I picked up my new Maz 38 last night. Didn't get to play it until very late as I had a family birthday party. When I got home it was late but I did play at a very low volume. First thing this morning I was able to crank it up a bit and just LOVE the sound of this amp. I am sure I will be tweaking the settings for a while, learning how responsive all the controls are but so far I am ELATED with what I am hearing. For now I am just plugged into the speakers on my Mesa Boogie Lonestar 2x12. I think I would like to get the Z-Best 2x12 cabinet, and a Keeley Katana pre amp boost pedal in the future. Thanks Dr.Z. I am very happy so far with this amp. Now, back to more playing.

My MAZ arrived today. I swear, I sat on the couch and just looked at the amp for a good 30 minutes. It's like looking at artwork. It really is a thing of beauty. Furthermore, the thing is built like a tank. It looks small until you attempt to lift it. I just couldn't get over how heavy duty it is. Finally, I grabbed the Goldtop and the Strat, and went to work. I'm a plug in and play type of guy...this is definitely the amp for me.
