Well, it was worth the wait! My Maz Sr showed up today and I'm already in love! What a great sounding amp. I've only had a 1/2 hour or so to play with it since I'm supposed to be working but it sounds great. I have band practice tonight and I'm thrilled that I get to bring the new amp... I wasn't really expecting it until tomorrow or Friday. The red looks sweet and I've determined it's the best sounding color It is a heavy sucka though. I'm used to hauling a little DRRI around so I'm wishing the Maz had side handles. Is there a reasonably priced road case out there to fit a Maz Sr 2x12?

Congatulations JCV! The Maz is right there next to my Stingray neck and neck, juz depends on what mood I'm in as to which one I plug into first then second and back and forth, love em both, like my kids, except I don't have any kids just my guitars and amps ;D.

I'm a fan of the Maz 38 sr too. One thing to watch is if you turn the master up you usually need to reduce the cut control. It can get a lot of edge as it gets louder.

reply:...since I don't know how to reply to your original post.
sho' nuf' there is a reasonably priced road case for a maz 2x12. I had the guys of Tri-Tuff build me one with 2" of foam, thick sides....all the best of all the goodies...you get the idea. And here's the best part...it was a very reasonable price!...I even got to pick a custom color. It looks great, and at 10-15 shows a month ridin' in a trailer all over the country...it's held up with perfection.
the guys know their stuff and are very proud of what they do...I would HIGHLY suggest getting a tri-tuff!!! I searched for a LONG time and they slaughtered the competition (all ebay brands, ROCK HARD, janal etc...) and at a greatly reduced price.
go to tri-tuff.com and shoot em' an email. tell em' paul from slingshot57 sent you! Hope that helps paul
