Hey all...glad to be here. I love my Z so much. I may have to sell it due to financial crumblings around me, and frankly it makes me sad.
considering the rarity of the Super Z 3x10, I was curious what the thing is worth? I know its much like a MAZ38, but to me they sound very different.
anyone know how much a Super Z is worth these days?

I can't help you a lot on what it's worth, but I will say that it's a cool amp and there obviously weren't very many made. There's one up in Cleveland at the tavern where Michael Bay plays; it's like the house amp. There was a new one at Willcutt's for a long time. There might have been less than 10 ever made for release in addition to Joe Walsh's.
My 2002 Dr. Z price sheet tells me that new the Super Z was $1699. That was back when a MAZ Sr reverb 2X10 was also $1699. By that logic, the Super (excluding any "collectible" status upcharge) should go for what a used 2002 MAZ 38 2X10 reverb combo goes for today.
What it really comes down to is what is someone willing to pay for it? A few months ago KT45's were going for $1500, $1600. Now that they're "back" people are having trouble moving 'em for $1000. Right now it's a buyers market.
