Hi all - I posted this in the Maz 38 section, but I thought I might get a quicker response here.
The serial number on the used Maz 38 that I intend to buy begins with an L, which I believe places it as a 2001 model, and I was wondering if there have been any changes in the amp's design since then that I should know about and that might cause me to prefer a newer model. I know that this particular model doesn't have an effects loop (and that doesn't bother me at all), but I was just wondering if there were any other differences that would be worth mentioning. I've read that the Maz 38 was updated at some point, I just don't know when that happened. Somebody mentioned that if the amp has a Cut knob that it should be the newest version. Is that true?
Thanks, Ryan

Ryan, If it has a cut knob it is the most recent version. You can read about the changes you are asking about here: www.drzamps.com/maz38.htmlI believe they include a larger trannies. The only other changes would be the non-reverb Maz38. I believe you can custom order an effects loop if you are interested.
