I have an mp3 that was e-mailed to my hotmail account by the artist that I recorded guitar tracks for in the studio. Would like to post on "sounds" board as all guitars were recorded through Z28 combo. I have saved the mp3 in the My Music file on hard drive. Any suggestions as to how to move this onto the "Sounds" board. Apologize for the sophomoric question, but I play guitar... the computer challenges me on a regular basis.

Don't apologize for asking a question we all asked at one time or another. You need to have the file hosted on a web server. I have my own, but most of the folks here use Soundclick.com or any one of dozens of other free services that let you post a sound file. I'm sure you'll get several ideas from some of the others here. Once you have the file on a web server, you get the URL to it and post that in the sounds section. One thing to watch for - the rights agreement you have to agree to when you sign up for many of these services sometimes take your rights to the things you're uploading, as a consequence of their offering a free storage service. Be sure of what you're agreeing to before you upload something you don't want to give away the rights on. This is one reason I have my own web server and domain - I own and continue to own anything I post there. I don't mean to scare you, but if you're uploading something you might want to sell later, be sure!
