Hello, I have a noise (buzz) when I use the cut or the reverb control. I have no guitar plug into my amp. Just put it ON and when i turn the cut or reverb knob there is a buzz !!!! Is there a problem with my tubes If yes, i have to replace wich tubes Thank you very much and excuse my poor english :-)

Wiggle the cables to and from the reverb tank at the chassis. If that doesn't stop it do the same where the cables plug into the reverb tank. If it's still buzzing make sure the screws holding the chassis to the cabinet are snug. If it's still buzzing try replacing the middle preamp tubes with known good tubes. After that, I'm out of ideas for a home remedy.

I checked the cable and the problem still there !! I will change my middle preamp tubes and I will see !! Thank you

I just went through what sounds like the exact same thing. After doing all that and changing tubes and all the obvious stuff it ended up being a loose tube socket. I wouldn't have thought that would cause buzz but it seems to be the case. I took the amp to a tech and the only thing he could find was the loose tube socket but when I got it home the buzz was gone. Move your preamp tubes back and forth and if any crackle then a loose tube socket could be a possibility. Good luck
