Well - I just pulled the trigger and traded my Carr Rambler in on a Maz 38 Reverb Combo. I don't think I'll regret it. The Rambler was one hell of an amp, and if I could have kept it around for the studio - I would have, but it's really beamy and focused (1x12) live. It's definitely the best new production 'deluxe' amp out ther IMHO, but I know I'll get a lot more use out of the higher gain tones in the 38. Can't wait to play it at the next gig! I already own a Maz Jr 18 - so now if we get a REALLY big venue booking, I can run a 2x10/2x10 wet/dry rig!

Yeah - except for the reverb whine I'm getting now that I've got it home, and the fan noise.

I'm fortunate enough to have a Rambler and a Maz 38 2X12. They're totally different animals, but I love them both!
