Before I fork out the $$ is the Bendix safe in my RX Jr due to it's slower power buildup? I can't imagine a problem, but wanted to confirm first.

The 6106 is fine for any amp that uses the 5Y3 . I've used mine in a few amps with no problem , just the 45 sec wait for warm up is the only big difference you will notice plus you are unlikely to ever wear one out or have a failure . I've got 4 of them sitting here .

In the Ghia I found the 6106 to be a bit fuller sounding and surprisingly has a little less compression than NOS 5Y3- all around punchier. Not better, just a little different. Brett

Won't hurt a thing. I've had one in my Ghia for years.
