I just bought a Maz JR NR 2 x 10 on Monday, and already LOVE this amp. PLayed it last night at a rehearsal and was blown away by how well it fit in, not to mention cut through. Man this thing is loud for a little 18 watt amp. MUCH louder than my 15 watt Bogner. Anyway, walking across the parking lot a 11:30pm I was wishing it had wheels and I could just roll it along. It's much heavier than I expected. Has anyone put wheels on theirs? Is there a trick to this, other than going to the hardware store, buying some wheels that are rated for the weight, drilling the holes, and screwing in the screws?
Also, I bought this new from Make N Music here in Chicago. It didn't come with a box, or warranty card or anything. Is this normal? No warranty registration?
Thanks, SC

Hey,
I bought 2 Z amps new from Humbucker music, neither came with a manual or anything. The website has whatever info you need.
I would avoud putting weels on a combo. It's really rough on the tubes when you roll it across bumpy/rough parking lots.
Good luck with the Maz 18, I have one and love it!!

get yourself a little hand truck for it. the bigger wheels smooth out the bumps, and then get a tuki cover with a bottom flap they are awesome.

Get the hand truck with pneumatic wheels. A worthy investment.

+1 on no wheels. I know Fender's and Mesa's come with them. But it is a bad deal. They really are not meant for transporting around parking lots and such. Plus if you play your amp off the ground like that it can sound like crap.
You can get one of those foldaway hand trucks,(they sell them in Lowes) put a bungee on it to hold your stuff. The luggage ones are not so sturdy, so stay away from those. I move my amps as well as things like small PA parts, (Mackie Subs, etc). They have pneumatic wheels. Good deal.

My EZG came with a box though there wasn't a warranty card per se - they filled out something at the store and sent it electronically into Dr. Z amps as I recall (though I could be wrong).

All new Z'z come with a warranty certificate with the serial # on it. Every one we receive at the store has this in an envelope.
