Myles,
With the pending changes coming up at Groove Tubes I had a question I was hoping you could help with. How would one go about specifying a set of KT66 tubes from a vendor (KCA NOS TUBES or Doug's Tubes) that would be the same basic spec as a Groove Tubes KT66-C with a number 6 rating? Is there a certain rating to request based on the tester type used and the test conditions?
Any help you could give is greatly appreciated.

I have documented stuff for Mike at KCA, Antique Electric Supply, and CE distribution so they can supply tubes in all ratings from all the output tube types. In the case of EL84 tubes as a side note, they will cost folks considerably less for the same JJ tube. Mike can make you up a great KT66C set that will be perfect-o.
