At the 11th hour before leaving for vacation, I got my Mini Z head. The only cab I had was the one that I had with my EVJr, but for the little I got to fiddle with it, it sounded nice.
The auction for my Peavey Windsor is up tomorrow at 10AM and I hope it sells. It has 22 watchers, so I feel like it will go.
My buddy who grew up across the street used to say don't wish for Fridays because you wish your life away. This is the first vacation I've taken since '04 and I feel like I'm wishing my vacation away to get home and play the amp.
I'll get home late Saturday evening and Sunday morning it will be on the Church stage. Trial by fire I guess.
Finally Brad

I just picked up that little Epiphone cab while waiting for my Avatar. Couldn't beat the price and the Eminence speaker in there (Lady Luck; I think its Gibson/Epiphone specific) doesn't sound half bad with the Mini. I replaced the dark red on the front with black to match the head, and am trying to figure out what to do with the grill cloth.
By the way, congrats on the new amp!

which church do you play at Brad? I live in Lebanon, which as you know, borders you on the East side. I play at Lebanon Family Worship Church. Kinda Bapticostal, so to speak. Brad

I'd really love to see the pics of the EVJr cab done up in black. That sounds cool. I was thinking of going the other direction and doing the Z in red. Unfortunately my Windsor didn't sell. I have mixed emotions over that. A part of me didn't want to see it go. Another part of me wanted the money to feel better about having two 5W amps. I got the email on my phone while we were at Disney. I also got an email from our P&W leader that the previous guitar player, who became sound man after I took over left. I don't know who will handle the sound Sunday morning. I may take the Windsor along too just in case whoever is up there doing sound doesn't know how to mic an amp and mix it in. When the previous guy played lead guitar, his wife handled the soundboard and when I took over, they both did sound. Obviously since he left, she went with him. I don't even know if they were training anyone. He did play guitar last Sunday since we left at 4AM.
