hi all! i am a new owner of a maz gt. i've been aware of z amps since i read the first guitar mag review years back. i looked into them, but didn't see a model that suited my needs until i found out about the gt. i lurked here for a while, learning what i could about the gt and z's in general.
one think that has me really curious... how does the tone control work on my maz gt? it definitely doesn't sound like a high-cut. seems like it reacts differently depending on the volume setting on the amp. it's really sensitive, and really cool! i'd love to hear the technical explanation for what it does, what kind of tone control it is, etc...
thanks in advance!

No one has answered this yet?!??! Maybe you should add this question to your thread in the GT forum, people seem to "pay more attention" there!

It is similar to a cut control but it covers more than just the high frequencies.

It is similar to a cut control but it covers more than just the high frequencies. thanks very much for your input! is it a fixed cut, or do the frequencies it affects change relative to the position of the volume? i ask because it sounds like a subtle sweep is going on, and i'm wondering if the volume and tone are interactive.
