I got used red head from TGP, arrived at my work today... I was ready w/ a tele and cab. My first Z though Ive been trying to get one for about 2 years...
My first impressions are great. The amp is dead quiet. The tone is fantastic and the vol knob sensitivity is fantastic. I know its the honeymoon but I stoked.
Im playing through a 300wt Raezers edge 4ohm twin 8 and I know this is not an ideal cab for this amp, but its working for the moment...
I love the tone stack also, but Im glad I did the research before getting the amp otherwise it may seem a little foreign. Also, though I havent had it out yet, seem like the perfect volume for clubbin and open jams...
Im a happy man today... now I gotta start messin w/ speakers and cabs... It never ends LOL
Thanks Doc, sorry I bought used but I love the product...

A Weber 1225C is a great match for this head and relatively cheap. Congrats on the amp. Welcome aboard!

Grats on the amp! I have a greenback in my 112 combo, sounds great and has a really sweet breakup. Also tried it with the Doc's 2 10's that sound just as good but a bit brighter/more articulate/bit more headroom.

Congrats, I just got mine too.
I'm in love - I can't even stop playing enough to write about it!

Well worth the grand it will cost you to buy a matching 2x10 and 1x12 Greenback or G12H 30 cabs.
Yeah, congrats on the amp and the honeymoon will last quite a while as it sounds equaly as good at the different levels of volume and gain.

A day later... Still lovin' it, great tones everywhere. Jazz to rock and clean dirty all at the Guitar. Its great. This is gonna be a recording machine as well... Also, played some non-pedal steel and fiddle through it and both sounded great! Im a happy camper.
