Hey, nice video! I think I've seen that basement before. Sidenote: That's a '61 Hammond A-100 in the background, bought new by my great-grandmother. Weren't the original Ghias made from the reverb amp in Hammond organs?

ChrisRice,
Do you remeber the settings you were using for the clean setting on the KT-45 side? Very ncie tone there.

I had a feeling it was probably someone from this forum! Those are some nice sounding guitars that you make! How long have you been building guitars? What speakers are you running the amp through?

I don't remember the settings, they're almost visible in the video. I wrote down settings for an amp once, but only once. I spin knobs until I like the sound. That's a poplar 1x12" with a Celestion Classic Lead 80 G12. I built my first guitar (with my dad) in February '98, my dad's been messing with them since the 60's. We started building for other people in the summer/fall of '05. Just finished this one today, the neck and light body woods came from my neighbor's apple tree.

Wow, that's really cool! What a great skill to have. You should team up with Dr. Z. "Rice Custom Guitars and Dr. Z amps- the official gear of Brad Paisley and Joe Walsh!"

Thanks guys. That one isn't for sale, my dad's keeping it (at least for a while). I did get a short clip of him playing it at a gig on Saturday.. (Band is my dad on guitar/vocals, me on bass/vocals, my brother on drums, and my sister on violin/guitar/vocals). Not through a Z, that's a '72 Fender Deluxe Reverb with JBL K-120.
