Just purchased a GT yesterday, Sounds great but when the volume is turned up is has a ssshhh sound or Hiss then lessings when the tone knob turned clock wise , is this normal

Any amp will make a frying sound if the gain is really high and you turn the volume way up, depending on the preamp tubes. Some more, some less, but it will be there with really high gain. The question you should ask is how much below your playing level is the noise? I don't find it to be any problem at all. In a bar, I never notice it. I do notice it more when recording, but it is so far below the level of the audio coming out of the amp that once I start playing it effectively disappears. The only time it causes me to do anything differently is if I have a long rest in quiet passage in a recording - I'll sometimes have to go in and suppress it for the duration of that rest.
Try some other tubes, especially NOS tubes that are probably a lot quieter.

Thanks, bentop It's really not that bad was just wonding, different response from the Fender and Marshall ,, 1 st Z , going tommorow to pick up the train, becuase in the house that Z is loud, no master to mess with lol
