Can a 1x12 convertible cab be ordered without a speaker? The reason is I have a Celestion Heritage G12M - 20w that I know would sound awesome used in conjunction with my Maz Jr 2 x 10 amp? Also, I am not a huge fan of Vintage 30's and i really don't want to buy a speaker I don't like. If a cab can be purchased this way, where do I get one? Any dealer? Thanks

Dr Z doesn't sell unloaded cabs, but you can get about any Celestion you want in it.

That's OK. I guess I could sell off the Vintage 30 after I take it out.
Maybe others can tell me their speaker preferences and what style of music they play with it? I play classic rock, southern rock, 80's rock, blues, etc. I do use pedals with my Maz Jr for the heavier distortion needs. I do feel I could use a little more low end in my sound. The Dr Z 10's are great sounding speakers though.

G12H sounds pretty good with the Maz Jr. and it a real commonly ordered speaker for the convertible cab. I have an Alnico Tone Tubby in my Maz Combo and like that too. YMMV.

You can get an empty 1X12 from Avatar speakers and they are really nice. I have one that I put a Hellatone (Broken in G12H30) and really like it.
