Greetings! Excellent forum, lots of good info!
I'm about to put together an order and wondered if anyone has clear pictures, an old thread or link to photos of what the 2008 grillcloth selections really look like. The Dr. Z website grillcloth options don't display clear enough for me to get a good idea of the color and weave detail. Some older pictures found on the web seem to show "wheat" and "oxblood", having a much thinner and transparent weave. Are these discontinued? Also, tan seems to have changed. I have seen the salt and pepper on an amp locally, and really like the thick durable appearance. Would you say the 2008 tan, brown and black are the same thick texture and weave? Thanks, and best wishes! Art

The Fender style grill cloth is no longer an option. Check in the gallery for more samples.

Yeah, the Gallery has a lot of images of recent amps. I have a Z-Best with the Salt and Pepper, and a combo and a cab with the "tan" and the material construction of the tan is the same as the salt and pepper.

Thanks. I'll check the gallery. Haven't seen the "brown" and "black" grillcloths in photos as much as the salt & pepper and tan. The brown looks like a nice option, with black or blonde tolex. Wish I could touchy, feely it though.
