Today I decided I wanted a 'Fendery' Z amp, and remembered seeing one a while back that caught my eye. It was in a local studio that had just recently bought a 65 Amps Monterrey, and I guessed he might be willing to part with the Z. I was right. Loaded with a greenback, this thing is just plain SWEET...my second time around with a 28! Once again, thanks Dr Z for making such cool amps!

That's nice Bill! I've got a 6V6 amp on the way myself. It's not a Z (hope I don't get banished from the Kingdom ;D) !!

It sits really well beside the 'Ray too! A little story behind the 28: I got a call today from Dave at Richmond Music, who heard I'd bought the amp. He owned it originally and donated it to a benefit auction to raise money for a young lady who had developed a serious infection resulting in the amputation of her limbs. The owner of a local studio bought the amp a few months ago, and I bought it from him last Friday. So the 28 raised money for a great cause. All the more better!
