I had some problems with my rt.66 today.
(From another thread)
When I turned on the the amp a weak rumbling sound appeared in standby-mode, so I checked the tubes. One of the KT66 tubes glowed a bit weaker than the other, but as the rumble sound disappeared the "donald duck" in my head made me turn on the amp on anyway (I know; stupid!) Then it started to make a LOUD crackling noise and an intense, purple flashing light appeared in the bad tube before the fuse blew and the amp went dead.
I´ve owned the amp in only a couple of months and I´ve never heard any signs of worn tubes before. But if this is (hopefully) because of bad tubes; would it be enough to replace them and the fuse?

Sounds like power tubes for sure.

Yep. Replace the power tubes and fuse and cross your fingers.
