I have a fender hotrod deville that I am trying to sell, cause I now own 3 Z's, but the power tubes are not powering up. No glow, not getting warm, nothing. The preamp tubes are all lit up. I replaced the power tubes with new ones and still nothing. I am thinking its a transformer but I'm not sure. Any advice would be great.

Has the amp been modified? The reason I ask is that the heaters for the power tubes are connected to the same transformer output as all of the other tubes' heaters. If the preamp tubes are heating up, the power tubes have to. Unless someone changed it somehow. I can't fathom any other way that the power tubes could be not heating - unless they both got so hot the heater wires unsoldered or something equally non-obvious. Time for the tech it seems to me.

The only thing I can think of is a bad PC board trace that feeds the heaters for the 6L6s but not the 12AX7s.
Tech time.
