I have a Dr.Z Maz Jr. When i bought the amp the sales guys told me to play my PRS guitar in the Lo output. I just bought a Tele and it doesn't sound good on the Lo. I plugged it into the Hi and it sounds great. What is the difference between Hi and Lo? Is it safe to play my Tele on the Hi? These may seem like stupid questions but i am new to playing guitar. Thanks

The "low" jack is 3db (a measure of signal level) down from the "high" jack. You can use whichever one gives you the sound you like. The High input will overdrive the amp faster, especially with humbuckers or P-90s. The "Low" input will give you more clean headroom.
I personally also like my Strats and Teles in the "high" input on both my Maz Jr. and Sr. There seems to be more "bandwidth"; more highs and lows available. It just "feels" better to me. A lot of guys use the low input though; especially guys playing clean country and jazz.
You might want to read some of the posts in the Maz Jr. and Sr. sections on Maz tone control settings. The tone controls on the Maz amps are not like the tone controls on other amps like Fenders and Marshalls. You can do some really cool things that you would never do on other amps (if it gives you the sound you're looking for) like turning all the controls on full, turning the bass and treble up while lowering the mids, etc. You can turn the treble all the way up and it won't sound harsh like on other amps. The "cut" control is the key to the amp. You can turn it up to get that "Tom Petty" Vox-like sound or turn it down to get a more Fendery sound.
Good luck!
Phil
