Hey guys,
I asked this in the Maz forum, but didn't get any responses in the last month, so...
Is it possible to convert an NR to a reverb model? I know I can use a pedal in the FX loop or whatnot, but I'm curious if I can get my amp moded...maybe by DR Z?
Thanks,
Mike

Anything is possible given enough time and money. But does it make sense? Only you would be able to decide, but I'm betting it would cost you more than you would be willing to pay. The Doc is pretty reasonable for most stuff; you might give him a call. You're talking about wiring in another tube (or two) and all of the related circuitry as well as adding a reverb pan, so it isn't a minor change at all.

And another small transformer and face plate. I know all of the holes are there but financially it doesn't make much sense.

Thats what I figured...It is probably a lot easier to try and trade for a reverb model...not even sure I want it, but I love that Z verb!

I snagged a Verbzilla...not sure if I like it yet, but a heck of a lot easier than selling my Maz head...I don't think I could sell my Maz anyway just because the wheat faceplate is so dang great looking...never seen another like it....
I may get the EH HG+ for comparisions sake...
Thanks...

You are missing two tubes and all the reverb circuitry .... pan, etc.

It's got a different power supply and a bunch of other stuff that would basically require you to rebuild it from scratch in order to make one into the other. So no, we won't do a conversion! ha ha

The verbzilla works great thru the loop. U just got to find your tone in it, sometimes too many options can put u off a pedal. You'll find it tho if u look. Cheers Azat
